John DeWitt is a Managing Director with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. In this role, he is responsible for direct loan originations and sourcing commercial real estate loans through the company’s various debt and equity programs, including Freddie Mac; Fannie Mae; FHA and Prudential’s General Account. John is located in Arlington, Virginia.

John has more than 25 years of experience in mortgage banking and direct mortgage lending, with expertise in originating and placing real estate capital for commercial and multifamily properties throughout the United States. Prior to joining Prudential in 2010, he was a senior vice president and founding member of Johnson Capital’s Washington D.C. metro office. Additionally, he was a co-manager of Johnson Capital’s Freddie Mac lending platform and was involved in the origination of more than $2 billion of commercial and multi-family loans. Before Johnson Capital, John was a vice president of production at Reilly Mortgage Group. At Reilly, he successfully originated and closed more than $1.5 billion in apartment financings. Earlier, he worked as a commercial real estate loan representative for Perpetual Savings Bank, where he serviced and managed a portfolio representing $500 million in commercial loans.

John received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Utah. He previously served as a member of the Freddie Mac Program Plus® Advisory Council.

Martin Fayer is a Managing Director with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. In this role, he is responsible for direct loan originations and sourcing commercial real estate loans throughout the United States, using Prudential’s various debt and equity programs, including Freddie Mac; Fannie Mae; FHA and Prudential’s General Account. Martin is located in Arlington, Virginia.

Martin has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with expertise in multifamily construction, bridge and permanent loan opportunities. Prior to joining Prudential in 2010, Martin served as senior vice president and principal at Johnson Capital, a privately held multifamily and commercial mortgage banking firm headquartered in Irvine, California. In that capacity, he was responsible for co-managing the Freddie Mac Program Plus® Platform, direct multifamily production and managing a team of multifamily originators. Earlier, he was vice president of loan production at Reilly Mortgage Group. His career includes lending positions at GMAC Residential Funding Corporation and Freddie Mac.

Martin received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in finance and a Master of Science degree in finance, both from the Kogod School of Business, American University.

Patrick McGlohn is a Principal with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. In this role, he is responsible for direct loan originations utilizing Prudential’s various debt and equity programs, including Fannie Mae; Freddie Mac; FHA; the company’s life company portfolio; conduit and Prudential’s proprietary balance sheet/bridge loan programs. He is located in Arlington, Virginia.

Patrick is an established professional with nearly 15 years in the commercial real estate finance field. He has focused on the multifamily sector since joining Prudential in 2003, and progressed through a variety of roles to become a principal. Patrick has considerable experience originating loans across product platforms, providing market intelligence and well-rounded financing insight to meet the needs of the company’s clients across the country.

Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in finance, with concentrations in risk management and accounting, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Pamplin College of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Patrick is a member of the Virginia Tech Program in Real Estate Industry Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, the National Multifamily Housing Council and the CFA Society Washington, DC.

Jason Miller is a Director with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. Jason is located in Arlington, Virginia.

Jason has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, including considerable experience in originating loans, underwriting, asset management and servicing. Jason was appointed to director in 2011. Prior to his appointment, he was an investment associate. Before joining Prudential in 2010, he was a director with Johnson Capital Group, a Freddie Mac seller/servicer, from 2002 to 2010. Jason began his career with Arthur Andersen as an auditor at Freddie Mac.

Jason received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Washington and Lee University.

Brian Salyards is a Principal with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. In this role, he is responsible for the direct origination of multifamily debt across the United States, through Freddie Mac; Fannie Mae; FHA; Prudential’s life company portfolio; CMBS executions and Prudential’s proprietary balance sheet/bridge loan programs. Brian is located in Boston.

Brian has 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, with considerable experience in commercial real estate finance. Prior to joining Prudential in 2011, Brian was with Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage (now Berkeley Point Capital), where he served from 2001 to 2011. In that capacity, he originated more than $1.3 billion in multifamily loans. Earlier, he was a senior regional underwriter with Berkshire Mortgage Finance. Brian began his career by forming his own real estate company, J&B Home Realty, which he ran successfully for 10 years. As co-owner, he was involved in the acquisition, investment, sale and leasing of single family and multifamily properties in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Brian received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business and Economics. He also earned a certificate in real estate finance from Boston University.

Mike McRoberts is a Managing Director with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. In this role, he serves as head of the company’s market rate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac portfolio teams and agency production team. He is responsible for growing and enhancing Prudential’s leadership position in multifamily lending. Mike is located in Arlington, Virginia.

Prior to joining Prudential in 2011, Mike served as vice president and national head of sales and production for Freddie Mac, with responsibility for the agency’s conventional multifamily business, structured transactions and senior’s housing teams, the national Freddie Mac Program Plus® network and Freddie’s four regional production offices. Earlier, he was national head of underwriting and credit and managing director of Freddie Mac’s Southeast region. Before joining Freddie Mac in 1992, Mike held positions at First Maryland Mortgage Corporation in Baltimore and First Interstate Mortgage Corporation in Denver and Kansas City.

MIke holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from James Madison University and a Master of Business Administration degree, with concentration in real estate and finance, from the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia.

Mike currently serves as the chairman on the Fannie Mae DUS® Advisory Council. He also serves on the Debt Financing Subcommittee of the National Multifamily Housing Council and on the Multifamily Steering Committee of Mortgage of the Bankers Association. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Patrick has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry, with considerable experience in originating agency, life company, CMBS, hard money and construction loans. Prior to joining Prudential in 2012, he was a director and originator for Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital. There, he specialized in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA loan programs. His career includes positions at Cohen Financial and Eastdil Realty, where he was involved in several large investment assignments. Patrick began his career as an asset manager with Trizec Hahn.

Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and a law degree from California Western School of Law.

Chuck Meyer is a Principal with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. In this role, he serves as production team lead and is responsible for direct loan origination for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, CMBS, Prudential’s General Account and mezzanine programs, with primary focus on owners of conventional multifamily and student housing. He is also charged with growing and developing GSE production staff and capabilities throughout the Midwest. Chuck is located in Dublin, Ohio.

Prior to joining Prudential in 2013, he was a senior managing director at Red Capital Group (formerly Banc One Capital Funding Corporation), where he served from 1999 to 2013. There, he co-directed the loan origination platform for the company, focusing on permanent and interim lending. In addition, he helped build Red Capital’s third party equity placement capabilities.

Chuck received a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in business administration from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Capital University, where he graduated first in his class and with highest distinction.

Chuck serves on the Student Housing Council of the Urban Land Institute, and is an active participant of the National Multifamily Housing Council.

Jay Porterfield is a Principal with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. In this role, he is responsible for the direct origination of multifamily debt on behalf of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and Prudential’s General Account. Jay is located in Dallas.

Jay joined Prudential in 2016, and brings more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry. He has originated more than $2.2 billion in mortgages during his career. Most recently, Jay was a vice president at Arbor Commercial Mortgage from 2007 to 2016. In that capacity, he primarily focused on originating Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, CMBS, bridge, mezzanine and preferred equity transactions throughout the Southwest. His career includes leadership posts at Countrywide Commercial Real Estate Finance, LaSalle Bank Real Estate Capital Markets (ABN AMRO) and General Electric Commercial Finance Real Estate. Jay began his career with Archon Financial.

Jay earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and finance and a Master of Science degree in economics from East Texas State University (now Texas A&M University – Commerce).

Anthony Tarter is a Principal with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. Anthony is located in Dallas.

Anthony has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate finance industry, with considerable experience in multifamily lending and properties. Prior to joining Prudential in 2016, Anthony was a vice president of loan production at Arbor Commercial Mortgage for seven years. In that role, he focused on providing direct funding for multifamily and commercial properties and specialized in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, Portfolio and CMBS. He originated and closed more than 200 transactions totaling $1.5 billion-plus. Before Arbor Commercial, he served as a vice president of multifamily loan production at PNC Financial Services Group’s Real Estate group. There, he originated loans for multiple property types, specializing in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with concentration in accounting and finance, from Abilene Christian University. Anthony has been a speaker on several industry panels.

Sheri Thompson is a Principal with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. In this role, she serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company’s Agency Lending Group, and works in partnership with the managing director for the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac conventional agency business to manage the business strategy of the team. Sheri has direct oversight and overall accountability for the trading activities, deal management, underwriting and closing departments of the group. She is located in Arlington, Virginia.

Sheri joined Prudential in 2014. She has a strong background in structured finance, and has been involved with structured loans across multifamily and healthcare product types throughout her career. Prior to joining Prudential, she was as a senior managing director at Red Capital Group, from 1997 to 2014. In that capacity, she served as the chief underwriter and head of credit with management oversight responsibilities for Red’s Fannie Mae DUS® loan underwriting department and proprietary balance sheet lending activities.

Sheri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in real estate and business law from The Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, and currently serves as vice chair – membership of the Multifamily Council. She also serves on the ULI UrbanPlan program. Sheri is an active wish granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
