Careers at Prudential Fixed Income
Prudential Fixed Income maintains a collegial and supportive work environment that promotes and rewards individual contributions while placing equal importance on results of the larger team. Associates within Prudential Fixed Income share their insights, skills, and diverse perspectives with a talented team working toward common goals. They have a strong sense of pride and purpose and an unwavering commitment to meeting client needs. As one of the largest fixed income managers in the U.S.*, with $395 billion of assets under management as of December 31, 2012, we continue to grow in challenging times. Prudential Fixed Income associates are able to focus on what they do best to contribute to the organization, leading to appropriate recognition for their business, team, and personal achievements.
At Prudential Fixed Income, we place high priority on maintaining a work environment that develops, motivates, rewards, and retains employees. Prudential Fixed Income University is a program that helps us to achieve these goals. It is held once a year, from mid-July through September, with sessions varying between one and seven hours each.
At Prudential Fixed Income, employees tend to stay, with senior investment professionals having an average tenure of 19 years.** We believe our employees stay because they have the ability to use and develop their talents in a supportive, intellectually challenging work environment that offers attractive compensation and benefits packages. We offer a total rewards package that includes competitive pay, performance-based incentives, benefits that offer protection for associates and their loved ones, long-term savings opportunities, and just as important, support for life beyond work. As a stable organization of long-tenured, talented individuals, we are better prepared to deliver on our obligations to our clients.
