Hedge

Hedge strategies permit the fullest expression of Prudential Fixed Income’s long-standing expertise in bottom-up research and individual security selection, with portfolio managers expressing their views on individual issues through both long and short opportunities. We currently manage a hedge strategy investing in the U.S. government and agency markets and a hedge strategy in emerging markets debt. Both are designed to be market neutral, intending to provide sources of alpha uncorrelated to the major debt and equity markets.

CLOs

CLO management is an important business of Prudential Fixed Income and a natural outgrowth of our expertise in global credit and in structured transactions. We currently manage CLO assets across a broad range of sectors, including U.S. and European bank loans, as well as high yield bonds, investment-grade corporate bonds, and asset-backed securities, and within both cash and synthetic structures.
