Associate Position
  Job Description
  Day in the Life

New Associates are quickly involved in many aspects of making investments, from analyzing and recommending deal structures to building relationships with senior executives at our client companies. The Associate career path moves into a Director's position taking on more responsibility for deal originations and closings. For a snapshot of what the Associate and Director positions entail, visit Associates Day in the Life. You can also learn how meaningful careers have been developed within Prudential Capital by visiting Career Path.

As an Associate, you'll join an investment team in one of our nine regional offices, working closely with a range of middle-market companies by arranging and attending marketing calls with clients, prospects and financial intermediaries. Once you've uncovered a deal, then you'll have the opportunity to analyze, structure, negotiate and close it with your team. Upon joining Prudential Capital, our Associates participate in a customized, seven-week Credit Training program to build their knowledge and skills. Participants not only meet with the senior executives of Prudential Capital and Prudential Investment Management, but also attend instructional sessions with them to learn the nuances of private capital from some of the most experienced investment professionals in the industry.

We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and are committed to diversity in our workplace.
