PGIM Fixed Income University
Participants
PGIM Fixed Income University is designed for new hires, recent transfers into PGIM Fixed Income, and others interested in refreshing their skills or expanding their knowledge of fixed income products and services.
Curriculum
PGIM Fixed Income University is divided into three series of classes: Introductory, Core, and Concentration. Introductory and Core classes are designed especially for employees new to the workforce and/or to PGIM Fixed Income, and focus on the transition to corporate America, development of soft skills, and an overview of PGIM Fixed Income, our Strategies and distributions channels, and the fixed income market. Concentration classes are designed to provide employees with in-depth knowledge and information on a specific topic related to the fixed income market, permitting participants to hone specific skills. These classes include fixed income securities and bond math, corporate credit analysis, structured credit analysis, and portfolio analysis, risk, and attribution.
Facilitators
PGIM Fixed Income employees facilitate most classes. In fact, lecturers include our head of PGIM Fixed Income, CFO, COO, Head of Credit Research, Head of Quantitative Research and Risk Management, and employees from the Product Management and Distribution Team along with other investment professionals. A few sessions are facilitated by external consultants.
